Gary Bingham I made 5 wine stoppers and also the bases for the stoppers to be stored in. The bases were the most challenging to make. The bases are different types of wood glued together and turned. Linda's plate is a piece of maple which Linda hand drew the writing in and I burned into the wood. The plate is 7 1/2 wide. The stoppers are made from bocote, bubinga, paduak, zebrawood and cocobola woods.

Yesterday I received a new 3m Versaflo M300 respirator. For years I have been inhaling wood sanding,
dust while preparing pieces of wood on my lathe and other wood projects I would
make. This is a self-contained
respirator with a very good 3m filter. I
tried it on yesterday and it is terrific.
My glasses do not steam when I wear it and it should be a pleasure to
wear while doing my wood projects.
