This is a 7 inch by 2 1/2 bowl made from locus wood.  I made it for a new next door neighbor who is remodeling her house before moving in.

linda and I corroborated on this very nice bowl  which I think is museum quality.  It is a 10 1/2 by 1 3/4 inch figured maple bowl which I turned and Linda decorated.  She painted in the natural lines of the bowl.  These pictures were also taken on our new living room rug which was delivered today.  She chose the colors to go along with the color of the rug, I had to use special spray to make sure the paints did not run.  It is called “fixative”.  It worked.
