Drove to the wood pile in Oakland to get wood turning wood yesterday. Got 4 pieces. Could not drive the car down the road to get it as you can see. There was a hole in the fence on left hand side where there was a sign. Got three pieces through that hole onto a cart and took it to the car. Back hurts. Lots of rain here.

Faberge Eggs

I made two spheres and the stands to go with them.  Richard Raffan my favorite teaching wood turner says that they will crack and they have.  

Spent the afternoon roughing out a large piece of black walnut wood to dry out and become a canister,  This will be the third one I have roughed out recently.  I plan to make four of them.  

I made a box for my medication and a cover for an object in Linda's bathroom. 

I made three Faberge eggs and stands.  I also stained them. Labor intensive even though they do not look like it.  Linda will further decorate them.

I made two new bowls: one 8 inches by 4 and half inches and the other 7 inches by 3 1/2 inches. Wood pile wood was used.  November 2015
