I just finished this tower of 11 wood pieces that I have turned from scrap wood left over from previous projects.  I was inspired to do it by a recent article by Peter Rand from Canada.  It uses dowel screws.

Attended an all day wood turning demonstration by Mike Mahoney.  It was through the Bay Area Wood turner Associations in Pleasant Hill, CA.  It was a very good demonstration and I learned a lot of good information.

I just finished turning a multisided Arizona Cypress vase and Christmas Tree ornament bell.  


Linda says to stop turning multisided objects.  Not appealing to her.  The vase is 5 1/2 inches by 4 inches.

This is a multiaxis hollow form I just finished working on.  It is 9 1/2 by 3 inches.  It is made of unknown wood pile wood.  The finial is also multiaxis.

This is a 4 inch by 4 1/2 inch Ipad holder, painted green. I am working on uneven wood turning recently. This is my first effort at it.

I just finished a small vase seven inches by 4 1/2 inches.  It is made of unknown firewood.
