An Ugly Bowl

An Ugly Bowl. In October 2014, I roughed turned this bowl. In the drying out process, it warped to the highest degree. I almost threw it away because I did not think it was salvageable. So, I turned it anyway. Note that one edge is very thin compared to the other edge.

January 2014, 4 inch by 9 inch bowl with drawings and a 11 inch platter

I just finished making this bowl and platter.  The bowl was turned and then I drew and burnt in the designs.  My home made designs.  The platter was made of many legs of cherry wood I obtained from of my wood turning groups raffle pile.  I cut, planned the legs, glued them together and turned them into the platter.    Gary Bingham

This is a Christmas tree candle holder.  Linda asked me to make it from a picture she saw in a catalog she received.
