I recently turned on my lathe a number of jewelry pieces to go on a necklace for Linda. Previously I had made her the ear rings. Assembling the pieces was just as much work (almost) as the it was to turn these many small items. One of the largest challenges is to find the attachments, pins, chains to assemble the necklace. We are still working on that. Michaels selection is poor so we ordered many of the findings from the internet. It is a skill in itself to twist the backs of the devices to make the loops to attach the pieces to the chain.
